With the medieval towns of Montepulciano and Pienza, you get to experience the true simplicity of Tuscan life. Follow a local guide in Montepulciano, then travel to the Renaissance Church of St. Biagio. Lunch is served using all locally sourced products at a vineyard producing one of the most important wines in Italy, Brunello di Montalcino.
Finish the day with a leisurely visit to the town of Pienza, famous for its Pecorino cheese and spectacular views of the Tuscan countryside.
