Our Guide to Wind Dancer – Deluxe Grand Canyon Helicopter Sunset Tour
Experience the thrill of flying in a helicopter as you soar over the Hoover Dam, Lake Las Vegas, Lake Mead and Fortification Hill as you head towards the Grand Canyon. The landscape below transforms from salt marshes to extinct volcanoes as you journey towards the highlight of the tour, and soon you are descending 3500 feet into a stunning valley in Hualapai Indian Territory.
Enjoy champagne and light snacks some 300 feet above the mighty Colorado River in one of the greatest natural wonders of the world. Afterwards, your helicopter flight takes you back through the Grand Canyon, past the red rock formations of the Bowl of Fire and conclude your adventure with a sunset flight over Downtown Las Vegas and the Las Vegas Strip as it transforms into the "City of Lights."
Operates: Daily throughout the year.
Start times: Start time varies between 2.30pm to 8.00pm depending on the time of year. Your exact departure time will be confirmed on your documentation.
Departure airport: Las Vegas terminal (includes complimentary transportation to and from hotels within five miles of the Strip).

- Flights depart from the Las Vegas Terminal. Transfers to and from the airport can take up to 60 minutes.

- Flight time is around 90 minutes in total.
- Helicopters are very sensitive to weight and weight distribution. As such anyone weighing over 300lbs must have 2 seats on the helicopter and a $100 supplement will be applicable upon check-in. All passengers must be weighed at check-in.
