Expedition Everest is a high-altitude, high-speed, roller coaster train ride. Climb aboard a railway car sets out on an ascent towards the summit of Mount Everest. From this panoramic point with amazing views you plunge into darkness. Returning to the light, you see that the tracks have been twisted into a dead end. As the wind howls, you realize there's no place to go on this expedition—or is there?

Kali River Rapids is an adventurous river raft ride that journeys through the rainforest on the churning Chakranadi River. Climb aboard a circular, 12-passenger raft and begin a 90-foot ascent and then drop into gushing geysers and drift under refreshing waterfalls. There are signs before boarding Kali River Rapids warning that you will get wet. You will. Maybe even soaked. Such a pleasant respite on a hot day.
The Kilimanjaro Safaris tour begins in the Harambe Wildlife Reserve, across the river from Discovery Island. Climb aboard a rugged open-sided safari vehicle for an exciting expedition through the wildlife preserve. The ride can be a bit bumpy as it crosses rickety bridges, rocky hills and rivers—but you're rewarded with spectacular animal sightings.
Maharajah Jungle Trek features beautiful murals, crumbling ruins and colorful pennants representing the cultures of northern Asia.Venture into the wilds of the mystical Anandapur Royal Forest of Southeast Asia, a tropical paradise full of plants and trees, rushing waterfalls and wild animals. The scents of jasmine and honeysuckle, and a fascinating assortment of unique animals creates an alluring environment.
It's Tough to be a Bug! is an an 8-minute, 3D movie and multimedia show. Hosted by Flik, everybody's favorite ant, and his grasshopper friend, Hopper, from the Disney·Pixar film A Bug's Life. The supporting cast consists of cute and creepy crawlers like spiders, termites, beetles, weevils and butterflies. These amazing and amusing insects and arachnids invite you to be honorary bugs.
The Tree of Life is a sculpted 14-story (145-foot tall), 50-foot wide tree, where It's Tough to be a Bug show is performed. Paths known as Discovery Island Trails weave around and through this homage to nature. Stroll the trails to see a swirling tapestry of 325 animals carved into the bark of this massive attraction. Look for creatures like Galapagos tortoises, lemurs and cotton-top tarmarins.
Flights of Wonder is a live show featuring the fascinating natural behaviors and often humorous talents of at least 20 species of exotic birds, including Harris hawks, macaws and a Yellow-napped Amazon parrot named Groucho, who has an amazing singing voice. The birds hunt, sing, soar and sometimes swoop just above your head for some high-flying surprises.
It's a big, blue beautiful world, but not without its dangers. Finding Nemo – The Musical captures the heart, humor, characters and story from the Disney Pixar animated film Finding Nemo and adapts them into a mesmerizing Broadway-style musical stage show. The innovative lighting, sound, special effects and stunning theatrical puppets, some as large as cars, makes Finding Nemo – The Musical a must "sea" production.

DINOSAUR! Journey to the age of dinosaurs on a daring quest to bring back a living piece of history. Once you climb aboard an experimental CTX Time Rover, you'll want to buckle up. Your rover arrives in a dark prehistoric forest that's almost pitch black, suddenly an enormous animal appears—and it is not one of the friendly variety. Time travel can be one turbulent trip!
Affection Section is an animal petting zoo located in Rafiki's Planet Watch, an area dedicated to the preservation and conservation of animals, where you can experience a hands-on encounter with a variety of live, friendly, domesticated animals. Take a look at the inner workings of Disney's Animal Kingdom theme park and take part in fun, educational activities that help create awareness of animal issues.
Conservation Station is part of Rafiki's Planet Watch, an area dedicated to the preservation and conservation of animals. Cretaceous Trail takes Guests of all ages for a short trek through a lush, prehistoric garden in the DinoLand U.S.A. area. Follow the Cretaceous Trail for a relaxing stroll through a primeval forest. See a giant Pachycephalosaurus dinosaur, discover fossil dig sites and encounter living plant and animal species that have outlived the dinosaurs and survived the prehistoric era of 65 million years ago.
TriceraTop Spin is a leisurely dinosaur flight for all ages. Climb into a 4-person dino vehicle and soar around a giant top as cartoon comets fly past and friendly dinosaurs pop up. Little ones just might want to do the driving and make their flying dinosaur go higher or lower while flying in a circle. Don't be surprised if something dino-sized rises from the giant top in the middle!
Dino-Sue is a replica of a real Tyrannosaurus Rex skeleton, on display in the DinoLand U.S.A. area in Disney's Animal Kingdom theme park. Pose for pictures with the 13-foot tall, 40-foot long reproduction of the largest, most complete T-Rex ever found. Clocking in at 67 million years, Dino-Sue is the length of a 4-story building.
Take a relaxing stroll down beautiful pathways and trails, over wooden foot bridges and through cave-like tunnels, and stop at the viewing areas to observe and photograph a rich variety of exotic animals. Galapagos tortoises, lemurs, kangaroos, capybaras, cockatoos and cotton-top tamarin monkeys are just some of the fascinating creatures you may encounter along Discovery Island Trails.
Fossil Fun Games offer carnival-style entertainment for all ages in the DinoLand U.S.A. area in Disney's Animal Kingdom theme park. Visit Chester and Hester's Dino-Rama, a special area that is full of family-friendly games and attractions, and play for the opportunity to win prizes at these dinosaur-themed Fossil Fun Games.
Habitat Habit! is a fun and educational wildlife trail located in Rafiki's Planet Watch area. Amble along this informative adventure trail and enjoy the antics of one of the most endangered primates in the world—the tiny primates known as cotton-top tamarins. These entertaining South American monkeys are named for the long, flowing white hair that fans from their head.
There are 6 Kids Discovery Club outposts where kids can explore nature's wonders through hands-on experiences such as constructing a dinosaur from a pile of bones, going on a scavenger hunt, becoming a wildlife detective and viewing the world from a bug's point of view. After completing each activity, kids receive a stamp, with all six stamps they can receive a special bonus for completing all the activities.
Pangani Forest Exploration Trail is a self-guided walking tour. Pangani means "place of enchantment," and this exploration trail is an enchanting adventure into a lush, tropical forest and a verdant valley that are right out of the heart of Africa. Take a leisurely walk in search of rare African animals such as gorillas, hippos, okapi, naked mole rats, meerkats and many species of exotic birds.
Primeval Whirl is a spinning, mild but wild roller coaster-type ride in the DinoLand U.S.A. area. Take a whirl in a spinning "time machine" car for dinosaur-themed excitement and thrills. In addition to sudden dips, hairpin turns and tight curves, this coaster spins each car on its own round and round path. You never know which way your car will twirl as you race around, making this ride a new experience each time.
The Boneyard is a dinosaur playground for preschoolers and grade school-age kids in the DinoLand U.S.A. area. At The Boneyard would-be paleontologists can play amid a world of dinosaur discoveries. Kids can wander through a maze, slide down covered slides, climb among the rocks and explore to their heart's content. The soft cushiony floor makes for a safe area where kids can have fun and run free.
The Oasis Exhibits are lush, tropical garden pathways filled with wildlife such as wallabies, deer and exotic birds. With shady trails, a variety of flora and fauna, waterfalls and meandering streams, and early morning mist that covers the ground, the Oasis Exhibits are a tropical retreat that sets the atmosphere for the Theme Park experience.
The Wildlife Express Train transports Guests of all ages between the Harambe, Africa and Rafiki's Planet Watch areas. Ride the rails aboard this rustic African train for a behind-the-scenes journey through several animal housing and care areas of Disney's Animal Kingdom theme park. Travel the savanna and see where rhinos, elephants and other animals spend the night and obtain the care they need.
