Located just forty minutes south west of Orlando in Winter Haven, LEGOLAND Florida is a brand new 150 acre theme park dedicated to families with children between the ages of 2 and 12. With more than 50 rides, shows and attractions, LEGOLAND® is geared towards family fun!

The park boasts a number of themed areas; the medieval times of Castle Hill, the prehistoric Land of Adventure and a miniature representation of some of the iconic cities of America in Miniland USA. For those who love to play make believe, LEGOLAND offers the highly celebrated LEGO City which is a must see. LEGO City is built on a small scale constructed for children to play “grownups”. Here children can attend LEGOLAND’s infamous driving school and receive their very own LEGOLAND driver’s license.

Once the excitement of the little ones has worn you out, use your Legoland tickets to relax in the seven hundred seat auditorium of the LEGOLAND Theatre, where you can watch one of four 4-D films shown throughout the day or take the family to dinner and sample Granny’s Apple Crisps with vanilla ice-cream, LEGOLAND’s signature dessert. LEGOLAND Florida is also home to one of the largest LEGO retail shops in the world, The Big Shop. • Driving School - LEGO City is home to LEGOLAND’s much loved Driving School. After watching a video that teaches road safety children will embark on their own road trip on the realistic roads of LEGO City. The roads will feature round abouts, traffic lights and other drivers, giving children the chance to implement their road safety skills. At the end of their driving experience they will be rewarded with their very own LEGOLAND driver’s license. This is one of the favourites at LEGOLAND Florida and should not be missed.
• LEGO TECHNIC Test Track – In a life-size LEGO TECHNIC automobile racers ride this riveting roller coaster bolting around the track wildly at an exhilarating speed.
• AQUAZONE – In miniature speed boats riders surf the waves and dodge the jets of water on this crazy water carousel ride.
• Fun Town Fire Academy – With Legoland tickets readily available, families demonstrate their fire fighting skills by competing against other families to rescue Fun Town from a “fire”. Each family bundles into their own large fire engine, powering the truck themselves by pumping levers. The first engine to make it down the tracks, put the fire out and make it back to the starting line wins.
• Imagination Zone – This is where children’s imaginations really can run wild. Here LEGOLAND Florida encourages free play and celebrates the creativity of young people. By engaging their minds Imagination Zone allows children to design their own LEGO cars and test their performance or build and program state of the art technology LEGO MINDSTORM robots.
• Lost Kingdom Adventure – set in the Land of Adventure against a 1920’s Egyptian backdrop, the Lost Kingdom Adventure at Legoland offers a mind blowing ride that invites riders into dark surroundings, where they will need to keep their wits about them as they protect themselves with laser blasters from an unsafe Egyptian region.
• Coastersaurus – This junior coaster reaches curves and dips in and around a prehistoric jungle of animated and life-sized LEGO brick dinosaurs.
• Pirates Cove – LEGOLAND Florida’s breathtaking live stunt show, Pirate’s Cove, tells the story of the pirate invasion of Lake Eloise. Packed with lots of entertainment and action, this water stunt show will have you at the edges of your seats throughout the entire performance.
• Game Space – For those that love video games, LEGOLAND Florida is the first to have this amazing gaming experience, Xbox Family GameSpace. This gaming heaven offers an Xbox experience never seen before. Whether you want to play LEGO INDIANA JONES, LEGO BATMAN OR LEGO STAR WARS the Xbox Game Space offers thirteen game stations perfect for the whole family to play together.
• The Dragon – An indoor/outdoor steel roller coaster that features a spirited and humorous view of life behind the scenes within the enchanted LEGOLAND Castle

LEGOLAND® Florida Water Park – Opening 26 May

Enhance your LEGOLAND Florida Experience by including a visit to the LEGOLAND® Florida Water Park. Opening early summer 2012, the LEGOLAND® Florida Water Park will excite both adults and kids alike with a host of LEGO-themed attractions including a LEGO Wave Pool, Twin Chaser Tube Rides, Joker Soaker interactive playground and a DUPLO® Splash Safari area designed exclusively for toddlers. Families can even build their own LEGO raft and set sail on the 1000-foot-long lazy river!
