Experience a world of adventure with your PortAventura tickets at the Port Aventura theme park. Here you can test your nerves on the 8-loop Dragon Khan which reaches speeds of over 70mph, whilst Hurakan Condor stands at over 100 metres and lifts its riders slowly to the top so you can absorb the sun soaked coastal views before plunging to the ground in freefall! The terrifying Furius Baco ride in Mediterrania accelerates from 0 to 135 kmh in less than 3 seconds twisting through trenches and tunnels over the spectacular Port Aventura lake! Waterfalls of a miniature to a grand scale carve the landscape through Polynesia making room for the likes of Tutuki Splash, a saturating volcanic river splash ride. At certain times of day you have no choice but become drawn to the infectious rhythm and beat of the Aloha Tahiti show, live music and a dance to the Gods will keep a permanent smile on your face. Shambhala - Europe's tallest coaster coming to PortAventura in 2012!
2012 will see the opening of Shambhala, a rollercoaster of giant proportions! Standing at 76 metres high, it will be the tallest and fastest rollercoaster in Europe, reaching speeds of 134kph as you challenge the longest drop in Europe. Shambhala will have all the ingredients of a fantastic and memorable adventure: scaling the highest summits, descending into abseil chasms and journeying through dark tunnels and mountain lakes, all on a ride featuring an outline reminiscent of a real mountain range.

Opening Hours
2012 Season: Port Aventura Park is open daily from 30 March to 4 November; Saturdays and Sundays 10 November to 16 December and daily from 22 December to 6 January 2013. Gates normally open at 10.00am.

Shambhala - Opening in 2012

Only the courageous know what lurks in the long journeys that take them over huge lakes and mountains, climbing to new heights, abysmal falls and paths through dark tunnels on Shambhala, Europe's tallest roller coaster. Standing at 76 meters high, this thrilling ride features the continent's longest fall; as you drop 78 meters, those brave enough to challenge Shambhala will reach a speed of 134 km/h!

Furius Baco
Minimum Height 1.4m
You will find Furius Baco within the peaceful Mediterrània area in PortAventura. A genius mind perfects the last details of his latest invention: a grape collecting machine. But beware....his pesky monkey helper will suddenly pull on the wrong lever and catapult you over the vineyards, going from 0 to 135 km/h in only three seconds!

Dragon Khan
Minimum Height 1.4m
Dragon Khan dominates the China skyline at PortAventura and the myth goes, the red dragon comes alive with fury when humans dare climb upon his back! With eight vertigo-inducing loops and 110 km/h of purest excitement only the bravest have been able to return from the Dragon Khan at PortAventura to tell of their adventure.

Tutuki Splash

Put yourself to the test on Tutuki Splash, one of the most exhilarating rides at PortAventura. Very few have survived the fury of this volcano found in the Polynesia area of PortAventura. Venture into its depths with caution, for you know you're doomed when you hear a loud rumble and the walls begin to tremble. The gods will punish you with a great eruption that will sweep your raft away...

Now you can choose between Turtle Visión, a film for the whole family, or Aquaride, for those seeking a bit more adrenaline. Tea Cups

This theme park favourite is found in the China area of PortAventura. Don't let these tea cups deceive you. They're anything but fragile! Climb on and become a part of the dance. You will not be able to stop spinning, not even when you climb back down.

Hurakan Condor

El Diablo - Tren de la mina

The old silver mine El Diablo - Tren de la mina was shut down after a group of miners disappeared without a trace. Will you have the courage to venture inside it aboard some old mine wagons? Dare to go into the El Diablo at PortAventura and come back to tell your story.
