GOCAR GPS Guided Tour – San Francisco

Choose from the following great GoCar tours in San Francisco. All tours depart from Fisherman’s Wharf and include driving instructions before the start of your tour.

Urban Parks Tour - Up to 2.5 hours
Experience the beauty of the San Francisco’s famous parks in your GPS Storytelling Car! This is the most popular tour route and takes through the city's beautiful urban parks and shows you some of the best views across the Bay to Alcatraz and the Golden Gate Bridge. See the Golden Gate Bridge tower 400 feet above you as you enjoy the
relaxed atmosphere of Golden Gate Park before heading to Lincoln Park and The Presidio. The tour finishes with a descent of famous Lombard Street, the crookedest street in the world.

Golden Gate Bridge and Back Tour – Up to 1.5 hour
A great option for those with limited time, your GoCar will take you along the water front Marina District to the ever-impressive Golden Gate Bridge. As you journey along the waterfront, enjoy the fantastic views across San Francisco Bay to Alcatraz Island and then loop back through the Presidio parkland area and down curvy Lombard Street to finish. As you drive, your GoCar will tell you stories of how the area was devastated by the 1989 earthquake, how Crissy Field was converted from a Military airstrip to beautiful wetlands and you will also see the Golden Gate Bridge from every angle! 

San Francisco All Day Tour – Around 5 hours
Let the GoCar show you what most visitors to San Francisco never see including the amazing parks, the houses of the rich and famous, the Golden Beaches and everything from Downtown San Francisco to the city limits. Highlights include the oldest Chinatown in the US and Lombard Street an icon from many hit movies. You can either follow the set directions to see San Francisco’s major landmarks or the more adventurous can programme their own tour route. You have your GoCar until sunset so you can drive at your own pace and stop as many times as you like en route.

Additional Information

Go Cars hold a maximum of 2 persons and Prices are per GoCar NOT per person. Simply choose the number of GoCars needed for the size of your party. The price includes fuel and is quoted for the approximate tour duration - there is a a 15-minute grace period and the rates for subsequent hours are pro-rated into 15-minute increments should you wish to keep your car for longer.

All drivers must be at least 21 years old and hold a valid drivers license.

A $300 security deposit will be held on a credit card until the GoCar is returned. All riders must sign a standard participant agreement. Renters will have the option to purchase Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) insurance on the day of rental.
